Welcome to the BeauSanders.com Student Server
Our linux1.beausanders.com server is being made available to students to use for lab assignments and other
learning experiences.
This Web site is currently running on a
Dell
PowerEdge 2500 server with dual Pentium-III 933MHz CPUs, a 136GB
RAID1 and 1.7 GB of RAM. Our Student Server's operating system is
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
5.2 Server. It is being
accessed through a
Charter.net high-speed
(10Mbps down and 1Mbps up) cable connection,
using a
Linksys
BEFCMU10 cable modem and a
Linksys
WRT54G router.
Our linux1 server is located in Greenville, South Carolina. Our www
main server is located in Boston and is leased through
PM-Systems.
